A greenery and gold wedding on Maui is a color combination that will definitely never go out of style! Greenery and gold is one of our favorite wedding color palettes and comes in second as the most requested color to blush. So, of course, we loved the fact that the bride incorporated a bit of blush into the mix as well!
Amanda and Jason met online but it was their love of food that brought them together, specifically pasta and donuts, which they shared on their first date. Throughout their years together they vacationed here on Maui quite a few times so it was an easy decision for them to make to hold their destination wedding on Maui as well.
The couple envisioned a naturally elegant wedding at the Olowalu Plantation House, using the timeless shade of greenery with a touch of tropical mixed in and a dash of blush. Gorgeous Amanda wore a beautiful two-piece wedding gown with the top being in the sweet shade of blush. We brought greenery into their table decor with natural, foraged greenery and candles for their centerpieces with guests seated on gold Chiavari chairs. Blush was incorporated into the mix through elegant blush dinnerware and the addition of gold flatware tied the whole look together. The couple wanted to incorporate traditional tropical colors somehow so the bridal bouquet and boutonniere were the perfect elements to bring in that Hawaiian tropical flair.
The main focus for the couple was for all of the friends and family that traveled to Maui to celebrate their wedding to have a memorable experience and to feel the magic of Maui. We can say with certainty that the bride and groom definitely got their wish!
