Amy and Brian are an adventurous couple that loves to travel. After meeting two years ago, they traveled to Hawaii for their 3rd date!! Since then they have traveled to many destinations, Brian even proposed to Amy during a trip to Ireland, on a cliff in the Dingle Peninsula. But they ultimately decided that the Olowalu Plantation House on Maui definitely made the most sense for their destination wedding as it holds a very special place in their hearts.

The most important element of their Maui wedding was for their family and friends have a blast, enjoying great music, delicious cocktails and food and lively entertainment. Their vision for decor was simple beauty in shades of blue and peach with a touch of tropical. We especially love how their bridal party colors tied in perfectly with their decor, the bridesmaids dresses really added that special tropical touch and the groomsmen’s shirts were the perfect shade of peach.

The Olowalu Plantation House was transformed into a fun party after the ceremony, with lawn games, giant Jenga, along with food and drinks under the stars. Everyone raved about the stunning view and how different and special this wedding was compared to having a big wedding back home and we couldn’t agree more! Congratulations to the newlyweds from all of us at Makena Weddings, and a huge Mahalo for choosing us as your Maui Wedding Planner!
