Celeste and Andrew opted for a morning beach wedding on Maui and as you’ll see by scrolling through the images below, the colors are so much different than what you’ll see during a sunset wedding. This gorgeous couple enjoyed the striking blue colors of the ocean and sky along with the contrast of lava rocks against the golden sand, which is exactly how they envisioned their dream wedding on Maui to be. The couple also has one of the sweetest and serendipitous stories of how they met! The bride shares:

We met while both working for Blockbuster Video in the early 2000s. We worked at different locations but we would see each other at monthly meetings. There was a spark right away, but we were seeing other people . . . whom we eventually married. We lost touch for a few years, but remained friends on social media and ran into each other a few times over a 15-year span. In 2015 we were both separated. Celeste messaged Andrew on Facebook, Christmas of 2015, knowing the first holidays after separation are tough. We started talking that day and never stopped. On our first date, we both knew – we closed a restaurant down, talking the night away. We laughed, we cried, we shared so much about ourselves that night. That was 3+ years ago!

With five kids between them, this getaway to Maui to celebrate their love together, just the two of them, was exactly what they needed. They wanted their wedding to focus on the two of them as a couple in one of the most beautiful places in the world. They wrote their own vows and each picked to wear what they would feel most comfortable in. Celeste went with lacy romantic and Andrew went with comfortable beach attire. We think you’ll agree after scrolling through their gorgeous images below, their wedding was absolutely beautiful, and most importantly, reflected the two of them perfectly as a couple.
