Allescia and Garrett dreamed of a wedding by the ocean where their wedding guests could enjoy an intimate party and be blown away by the venue. Needless to say Gannon’s Wailea was the perfect choice to make their Maui wedding dreams come true. The couple, along with their closest family and friends traveled all the way from Canada to celebrate the love between this amazing couple. After meeting on e-harmony, Garrett proposed in the most romantic of ways. The bride shares:

We went out to see the Christmas lights at the Calgary Zoo with some friends. We got to the Tunnel of Love lights and I suggested we dance to the music. I was dancing to “I Believe in Miracles” and I thought he was dancing too. Suddenly he was down on one knee and asked me to marry him.

Tropical flowers in shades of ivory and pink, woven fans for their guests and a vintage ukulele used as a guest book were key to the old Hawaii vibe that was created for their big day. They said their I Dos under a romantic driftwood wedding arch dripping in a gorgeous mix of  King Protea and greenery. Creative Island Visions was there to capture every detail and we could not be happier with the way that their entire day unfolded. Congratulations to the newlyweds! We had so much fun getting to know you both and wish you all the happiness in the world. Thank you for choosing Makena Weddings as your Maui wedding planner!
