Maui is always a good idea for a destination wedding and the beautiful Lower Lawn at Gannon’s Wailea was the perfect spot for this intimate celebration! You’ll see as you scroll through the images below, courtesy of Naomi Levit Photography, that Gannon’s Wailea provided the perfect backdrop and atmosphere for their big day. The magic of King Protea bouquets combined with the bride’s flowing, boho-inspired wedding gown, and the bridesmaids’ mismatched blush and ivory dresses created a beautiful, relaxed look that was exactly what the bride and groom dreamed of. From the bride:

I am a very boho/casual kind of person so I wanted the whole wedding vibe to have a very ‘free’ feeling. I had my best friend’s husband perform a large part of the ceremony with Rev. Al Terry which was very special. I wanted my guests to enjoy a intimate, romantic celebration that was also a lot of fun and carefree.

The most important rule that we follow here at Makena Weddings is to listen to our couples and make sure that their wedding truly reflects the two of them as a couple. With the immense love between the two of them and the stunning backdrop of Maui, this wedding was pure perfection!
