There’s nothing like a romantic elopement here on Maui! Throw in the fresh springtime air and a bridal gown perfectly fit for a spring elopement on Maui and you have Emily and Seth’s gorgeous Maui wedding day!

He proposed on a rock by a creek on my family’s property in Georgia on 12.26.18, which was his grandparent’s wedding date. He asked to go for a walk, which was not an unusual request, and he managed to let my parents know what he was about to do before we left. They were able to watch at a distance from the living room window.

The couple lives in San Francisco and their families are spread out across the country. On top of that, the groom’s sister was pregnant and the bride’s best friend was pregnant too, so timing and location while planning their wedding was a struggle. It just so happened that they already had a trip to Maui planned so it was a light bulb moment and a no brainer for the couple to tie the knot while they were here on the beautiful, romantic island of Maui. The bride’s father gave them this sweet advice that meant everything to the couple:

The wedding is wonderful and meaningful, but what really matters is how you live and love one another all the days after that day.

The couple envisioned a simple, Spring beach wedding on a beautiful, sunny Maui morning and that is exactly what they got. It was such an honor to be a part of this couple’s special day, thank you so much to the happy couple for choosing Makena Weddings as your Maui Wedding Planner!
