Planning the Maui Vow Renewal of James and Neila was such a pleasure for all of us at Makena Weddings to be a part of! After 30-years of marriage, James is still so creative and thoughtful. He contacted Makena Weddings to help with the planning of their Maui Vow Renewal which was a complete surprise to the bride! James told her that they were going to have a romantic portrait session to commemorate their 30-year wedding anniversary in Maui, as they walked toward the Steeple House at Kapalua, he let her in on the surprise; they were actually going to renew their wedding vows! She was overjoyed and so touched, and needless to say, she was absolutely glowing as was the proud groom. Rev. Al Terry and wedding musician, Marvin Tevaga, were waiting in place to take part in their celebration, and Cassie of Creative Island Visions was there to capture every beautiful moment. After their beautiful Maui Vow Renewal, they danced a romantic first dance and then took advantage of the amazing Kapalua scenery for their romantic portrait session that Neila was so looking forward to. It was such a romantic and meaningful night and we could not have been more honored to be a part of this beautiful celebration and huge milestone.
