Kiki and Ryan brought their family and friends to the beautiful island of Maui for their romantic, tropical destination wedding in paradise. They dreamed of having a casual wedding with an emphasis on good food, drinks and music right on the water which is exactly what they got at the oceanfront Olowalu Plantation House. But most of all they were really excited to show their family and friends, who hadn’t been before, how incredible and special the island of Maui is. They always knew that Maui would be the place that they would make things official:

Kiki LOVES Maui, it’s always ben a really special place that her family has come to since she was young. She always said that she wanted to get married in Maui, so Ryan kind of knew what he was in for!

After originally meeting on a blind date in Colorado, Ryan surprised Kiki with the sweetest proposal:

Ryan proposed in one of our favorite spots that we take our two dogs to, up in the mountains, along a river. It was a total surprise. He got the ring I had been eyeing for years that had some sentimental significance, and that I never thought I would actually get. He also had my family fly in from out of town and surprise me when we were going for drinks before dinner. It was pretty amazing!

Their wedding day was also nothing short of amazing as the couple exchanged sweet I Dos under the towering trees on the oceanfront lawn of the Olowalu Plantation House, guests were treated with amazing food and beautifully served cocktails and a hula performance during a fun cocktail hour. After romantic portraits as the sun set, the happy couple celebrated under the warm Hawaiian sky surrounded by their loved ones.
