We can’t get enough of the gorgeous Olowalu Plantation House and will never tire of planning weddings at this gorgeous oceanfront estate! Alisha & Jason and their large group of friends and family traveled all the way from Texas to celebrate the love of this sweet couple. This beautiful, rustic themed wedding in shades of dark wood, peach and ivory took place on March 13, 2020 and was one of the last weddings that we planned before the wedding industry here on Maui was forced to close down due to COVID-19. We loved planning this beautiful affair, from the romantic ceremony to the al fresco dinner reception under the stars, looking back on this wedding now truly warms our hearts. We are so looking forward to the island opening up again and being able to service our couples and guests!
Alisha and Jason were such a joy to work with and we absolutely loved hearing the story of how they first met. The bride shares:
Their wedding ceremony was held under the towering trees at the Olowalu Plantation House with a soft Hawaiian breeze and the ocean waves as their backdrop. They read personalized vows to each other which added to the casual and relaxing vibe that they wanted their guests to enjoy. After the ceremony guests dined on delicious cuisine as they sat under the clear Hawaiian sky and talked about how amazing it was to cap off their vacation week with this sweet celebration of love. We have no doubt that everyone in attendance is holding on to these beautiful memories of all being together before the world changed so quickly and we all went into quarantine.
Congratulations to Alisha and Jason, it was truly an honor and a pleasure meeting and working with you!! A hui ho, until we meet again!
