We can’t think of a more romantic way to spend a first date than taking a drive through a scenic byway ending at gorgeous mountain peak, that is exactly how Tehra and Keith’s relationship began. Which is so fitting for this adventurous, outdoors loving couple. Their proposal story is just as romantic, the bride shares:

“ I adore Charleston, South Carolina. The architecture, charm, beaches and food led me to fall in love with this quaint city. We decided to go to Charleston since Keith hadn’t experienced this beautiful city yet. During the second day of our trip, Keith took me to the Magnolia Gardens. While walking through the gardens, Keith paused near the Audubon Swamp Garden, famously known as the setting of the scene where Noah rows Allie through a lake filled with swans in the film, The Notebook. Keith held me close and shared all the things he loves about me and our life together under an old Spanish moss tree. He dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. I didn’t hesitate to say yes! As we shared a few tears and a long hug, Keith waved over two strangers that turned out to be hidden photographers! After a few laughs from the surprise, we went through the rest of the gardens followed by photographers taking engagement photos.”

They knew that they would have a destination wedding, with their requirements being that they wanted a tropical setting and absolutely love being near the ocean, the breathtaking island of Maui was an easy choice! After their location was secured, the couple decided on a light, effortless, boho wedding theme in shades of dusty pink, tan, ivory and elements of amber. The couple said their I Dos under a stunning wooden arch dripping in gorgeous floral decor in the color story of the day. Tables were set with ivory dinnerware and vintage glassware in varying shades of amber. Stunning floral decor and taper candles in complimenting shades were placed atop macrame runners lining the tables, with boho inspired pendant lighting hanging from above. Thank you cards made by the bride were placed at each setting, glued to pages from a vintage poetry book that the bride loves.

Guests enjoyed an instagram moment with a wooden backdrop adorned in floral decor complete with a custom neon sign and hand crafted cocktails as the bride and groom were off taking romantic photos as husband and wife.

Tehra absolutely stunned in her Essence of Australia wedding gown, Louboutin wedding shoes and luscious, asymmetrical bouquet. Keith looked amazing as well in his Calvin Klein tuxedo, adorned with a traditional Hawaiian Maile lei.

This wedding was straight out of a boho inspired fairytale and we are so excited to share the images from this incredible day!
