Allie and Hayden celebrated their Maui wedding at the Olowalu Plantation House in the most gorgeous way, surrounded by family and friends and beautiful, lush, green and white tropical flowers. They had always planned on having a destination wedding but after seeing a friend’s photos of their wedding at the Olowalu Plantation House, the couple fell in love with this amazing, oceanfront venue on Maui. So the Olowalu Plantation House became their dream destination wedding venue, winning out over the original location they were considering, which was Greece. Having their wedding in Maui also made it easier for more of their family and friends to join in on the celebration. They spent their time on Maui leading up to their wedding by relaxing on the beach and spending time with their fun group before all of the wedding festivities began.

Allie and Hayden were such a joy to work with and met in the sweetest way, the bride shares:

We met in our sophomore English class and began dating in the beginning of our junior year of high school. We moved to Oregon to go to college together at the age of eighteen. We have since both graduated with our degrees, mine in nursing and his in criminal justice. We recently moved back to California near where we both grew up to start our careers and to be close to family again. We have been together for a total of seven years now and are excited to finally tie the knot!

And of course their proposal story is just as beautiful:

Hayden proposed on a family trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming in August of 2019. We took a tram to the top of the Teton mountains and had waffles at the top. Shortly afterwards we took a walk to look at the view and he proposed while our family and friends watched from afar, it was nothing short of magical.

After a gorgeous oceanfront ceremony, the happy couple mingled and enjoyed a delicious cocktail before exploring the expansive property during their romantic couples photos with Kristy Taylor Photography. When they returned after sunset, they were seated at beautifully adorned farm tables set with white phalaenopsis orchids. Their reception table design included touches of gold and white throughout, including lovely acrylic place cards set atop soft grey dinnerware and stylish gold flatware. Their entire design was clean and modern with a decidedly tropical touch and we had so much bringing it all to life for them!
