Emily and Justin’s beautiful Micro Wedding here on Maui was a combination of romantic, classic and dreamlike decor and a jaw-droppingly gorgeous slice of paradise on Maui’s south coast. The Kukahiko Estate was the perfect venue for this stunning Micro Wedding on Maui, the Kukahiko Estate is intimate and at the same time sprawling with incredible ocean views and an expansive lawn and was exactly what this sweet couple was looking for.

The couple was joined by just 4 guests and a 3 person wedding party, along with the bride and groom, came to a total guest count of 9 people. If this past year has taught us anything, it is that love is definitely all you need. Although many weddings have had to cancel, postpone or cut guests lists dramatically, when you think about what is really important, if you have your parents, a few of your closest friends by your side, and the love of your life standing next to you, that can feel like you have everything that you need.

Having a smaller Micro Wedding will also bring the cost of your wedding down drastically, which will allow you to spend a bit more on your wedding flowers and ceremony decor. We created an incredible driftwood wedding arch, brimming with elegant while flowers and flowing sheer fabric. The couple exchanged beautifully crafted Hawaiian lei and the bride carried an equally gorgeous white wedding bouquet.

Overall this wedding was absolutely breathtaking and we think you’ll agree that this wedding definitely had it all! Please feel free to contact us at Makena Weddings for more information about hosting a Micro Wedding at the elegant, oceanfront Kukahiko Estate, we look forward to hearing from you!
