Located along the pristine shores of Maui, Sugar Beach Events Venue offers a tropical oasis that is the perfect location for the couple looking to celebrate both their wedding and dinner reception at the same location. With its lush gardens, sandy beachfront, and panoramic views of the sparkling ocean, and an indoor, air-conditioned ballroom, this is the perfect venue for an unforgettable day.

To infuse the wedding with a sense of whimsy and playfulness, vibrant colors in shades pink, peach, mustard and neutrals served as the color palette of the day. The bride carried a gorgeous bouquet of tropical flowers, including ginger, anthurium and orchids, while the groom wore a complimenting boutonniere and Maile lei. We brought the beauty of the island indoors using the same whimsical flowers inside the ballroom, complete with gorgeous table decor and tall taper candles casting a warm glow on the space after the sun went down.

Of course we asked this sweet couple one of our favorite questions: How did he or she propose and we absolutely loved their answer:

We traveled to Iceland and did a full circle around the entire country, hiking, looking at waterfalls, etc. On the third day into our trip, we did a glacier tour. We were walking near Diamond Beach when he surprised me with the proposal, near the water. He told me he wanted me to be his adventure buddy for life.

As lovers of travel and adventure, Michelle and Kirtan knew they would have a destination wedding to celebrate their love. Their first trip together as a couple was to Hawaii. They had so much fun on that first trip together, they knew that they would be returning together again. So they decided that Maui would be the perfect place to host their intimate, beautiful wedding. And it definitely was!
