Sweet + Simple Maui Wedding at Gannon's Wailea

When you have a bride and groom with two high stress careers (nurse and fire fighter) the last thing you want to do is plan a high stress wedding. So it’s only natural that our lovely couple, Kathleen and Chris opted to have a sweet + simple wedding at Gannon’s Wailea in Maui, with Makena Weddings handling all of the details. Per the couple’s request, we kept the decor clean and simple, staying true to what was most important to the couple: professing their love and promising forever in front of an intimate group of family and friends.

That doesn’t mean that their Maui wedding decor was anything less than beautiful though! Floral Designs Maui did a fantastic job of producing gorgeous, tropical decor in shades of pinks, purples and greenery. One of our favorite moments of each and every wedding is when the groom lays eyes on his bride for the first time as she walks down the aisle. Chris was overwhelmed and it was such a sweet moment to witness.

After their heartfelt ceremony performed by Reverend Al Terry, the couple made the quick drive to the beach just across the street from Gannon’s for a romantic photo session with Meew Meew Studios. When they returned they were announced into their reception where family and friends were waiting to greet the new Mr. and Mrs. It was such a beautiful day all the way around and we were so honored to be chosen as their Maui Wedding Planner!
