Lisa and Josh traveled all the way from Australia to be married at the Olowalu Plantation House with their closest family and friends in tow. The groom is an avid lover of everything country western, Lisa, not so much. But love makes you do crazy things and Lisa eventually came around. To show Josh how much she loves him, she surprised him by wearing a pair of cowboy boots with her wedding dress!! Now that’s love!
The couple wanted their celebration to be simple and intimate with the focus to be on their family and friends that traveled so far to celebrate their love. We created a warm, welcoming atmosphere for their dinner reception with bright tropical flowers placed on wood farm tables. Large monstera leaves were placed at each setting along with a personalized menu. Delicious food was provided via Food Truck courtesy of Three’s Catering and delectable cocktails flowed freely throughout the night. It was the sweetest celebration of love and we are so thankful that Lisa and Josh chose Makena Weddings as their Maui wedding planner!
Make sure to scroll down to see the groom’s one photo request, an image of his groomsmen tossing him in the air! The look on his face is just priceless!
