Luxury Lavender + Gold Wedding at the Olowalu Plantation House

This luxury lavender and gold wedding at the Olowalu Plantation House is what wedding dreams are made of! Ana and Alex’s Maui wedding at this gorgeous private oceanfront estate definitely had it all. Their color palette was soft lavender with touches of gold and bits of darker shades combined to create a magical look that had all of their guests in awe. Thier lavish ceremony setup included a stunning wedding arch adorned with a backdrop of hanging white orchid leis with just enough space to see the bright blue ocean behind them. Lush blooms were everywhere from the generous flower petal pathway to the bridal bouquet overflowing with peonies and roses in shades of lavender, pink and ivory.

So what made Ana and Alex choose Maui as their destination wedding location? Maui holds a very special place in their hearts as Alex proposed to Ana here in Maui after a romantic dinner on the beach in Wailea. With the couple’s family and friends residing on the East Coast of the United States and in Australia, Maui was the perfect halfway spot for everyone to gather.

For their reception, the couple envisioned romantic dinner cabanas for guest seating, draped in flowing fabric and dripping with gorgeous blooms. Crystal chandeliers and cafe bulb lighting created a gorgeous mood after the sun went down, as guests dined on delectable dinner cuisine. The night continued with a thrilling fire knife performance that started the party off, with the couple and their guests dancing the night away until the last song of the night was played.
