This is what a winter wedding at the Olowalu Plantation House on Maui looks like! A gorgeous, tropical day full of sunshine, ocean waves and warm breezes. Jennifer and Richard chose the warm winter month of January to say I Do and when we asked how they decided on Maui as the location for their destination wedding we just loved their sweet and romantic answer:

When Jennifer was young she visited Hawaii with her mom. She immediately fell in love with Maui and at the time she promised herself that she would bring her future husband back with her. She thought it was the most romantic destination she had ever seen. Throughout the years she traveled to many other destinations, and though she couldn’t remember exactly how Maui looked, she always remembered how it made her feel. So when it came time to decide, Maui was the obvious choice.

The couples wedding vision was rustic romance in shades of blush, white and deep reds. They wanted the beauty of Maui to shine through while allowing their guests to enjoy the gorgeous scenery of the Olowalu Plantation House. For their reception, they wanted everyone to let loose and have a great time. After scrolling through their images courtesy of Meew Meew Studios, we think you’ll agree that they enjoyed all of the above!
