Maui holds a special place in this gorgeous bride’s heart, as it has been a second home to her for decades. The groom is a big fan of Maui as well so having their dream wedding on the tropical shores of Maui was an easy choice for the couple to make! They chose Sugar Beach Events Venue as their Maui wedding venue which boasts a gorgeous oceanfront space for both the ceremony and reception dinner. The couple both love the ocean so saying I do in Maui with the waves crashing behind them was exactly where they wanted to be.
Their ceremony was decorated with a simple bamboo wedding arch draped with white fabric and stunning tropical florals provided by Floral Designs Maui. The bride carried an equally colorful tropical bouquet that complimented the arch perfectly! After the ceremony, the couple utilized the indoor ballroom at Sugar Beach Events as an additional cocktail hour space where guests enjoyed a fully stocked bar and two talented hula dancers. The outdoor space was available as well for their guests to enjoy another bar, lawn games and after an outfit change by the hula dancers, guests enjoyed a fun hula lesson that was a huge hit with everyone!
The couple decided to use the oceanfront lawn for their dinner reception, instead of the indoor ballroom, to fully enjoy the warm Hawaiian breeze and the soothing sounds of the ocean as they dined under the stars with their family and friends. It was a truly magical night and we had so much fun working with this sweet and vibrant couple!
