From their first meeting, which was meant to be a quick coffee date, to a 100 person wedding in Maui, this gorgeous celebration was the epitome of happiness, love and Aloha. Filled with lush floral decor in shades of violet, red and white, and the smiles that never stopped, you would never guess that this wedding was actually rained out! This lovely couple couldn’t have cared less about the fact that their Maui wedding at Gannon’s was moved indoors, and that is what we loved most about them! Rain or shine, all they cared about was being together on this magical island and saying I Do in front of all of their family and friends. The couple hosted a buy out of Gannon’s Wailea, so they had the whole restaurant to themselves the entire night. The venue hosted their ceremony, cocktail hour and then a DJ and dancing after an amazing meal surrounded by their family and friends. Their photographer and videographer helped to make sure that the couple didn’t miss out on anything, including a day after session with an amazing Maui sunset that they missed out on due to rain on their wedding day. Such a testament to the warm hearted, spirit of Aloha that is so prevalent in the vendors that we surround ourselves with here at Makena Weddings! Both Dmitri and Sandra Photography and Stephen Boeker Films took the couple out a few days after the wedding to make sure that they received the full experience of romantic photos and video to complete their Maui wedding experience and the results are absolutely breathtaking!!
