After this American beauty and Australian man met on Tinder and fell in love, it was an easy decision to make to have their destination wedding here on the incredibly romantic island of Maui after they became engaged. With Maui being the halfway point for the couple’s family and friends, it was also the perfect way to gather everyone together for a fun holiday while also celebrating the love of Hannah and Matt.
The bride and groom had a very specific vision for their Maui wedding, to be romantic and intimate, fun and laid back. It was very important to the couple for their family and friends to feel relaxed and cheerful throughout their whole event. Recounting the way Matt proposed to Hannah, they wanted their wedding celebration to have the same feeling of being simple, private and perfect.
We created that look by incorporating soft shades of blush flowers and clean, white decor for the couple’s ceremony at Gannon’s Lower Wedding Knoll. The bride and bridesmaids carried sweet bouquets in shades of blush and white while the groom sported a lovely boutonniere in the same shades. With white chairs and a white welcome sign, everything was exactly as the bride envisioned her entrance into the wedding ceremony.
Gannon’s Wailea is the perfect Maui wedding venue for that private, intimate look and feel that the couple was after. With sweeping ocean views and a perfectly manicured green lawn surrounded by lush foliage, the couple absolutely loved that this gorgeous location was both private and just a quick drive across the street to the beach. After the ceremony, the couple enjoyed romantic photos on the beach that truly captured their fun personalities.
