Makena Weddings is excited to share the modern tropical Pono Makena Maui wedding of Cynthia and Andrew! The Pono Makena is definitely one of our favorite Maui wedding venues in Makena, which is located on the south side of the island. This oceanfront private estate, formerly known as the Sugarman Estate, has recently been acquired by a new owner and has been renamed Pono Makena.
Our Maui wedding couple chose gorgeous, modern tropical decor to accent the breathtaking natural elements surrounding this amazing property including a beautiful bridal bouquet of white cymbidium orchids and a matching boutonniere for the groom. Bridesmaids bouquets in complimenting colors and a splash of tropical decor adorned their bamboo wedding arch, all courtesy of Dellables Floral Design.
Cafe o’Lei provided catering services, white lounge seating was provided by Rio Event Design and customized signage was provided by Miss B Calligraphy. We’re so glad that the talented team of Dmitri and Sandra Photography were there to capture all of the beauty of the day.
