Earlier this year, our beautiful couple, Stella and Mike, visited Maui to tour their wedding venue and finalize their wedding vendors. While they were here they decided to also take advantage of the beautiful surroundings and schedule an engagement portrait with their wedding photographer, Angela Nelson Photography. The results, as you’ll see by scrolling through the images below, are absolutely stunning! Their session took place in two locations, first a jungle overflowing with greenery and vines, which made a stunning backdrop with gorgeous, golden light peeking through the trees. After the jungle, the couple changed into a second outfit, with the bride emerging at a secluded beach in a flowing, violet gown that looked amazing against the blue ocean and lava rock backdrop.
We love when our couples schedule an engagement portrait or day after session while they are here on the island, either during the planning process or after their wedding day. Having this special time captured is something that you will always cherish.
We can’t wait for their Maui wedding scheduled for October, it is going to be absolutely stunning, and are so looking forward to seeing them again!
